The Founder
Subra Suppiah is the Founder and Managing Director of Oxydata Software Sdn Bhd. With over 30 years in enterprise technology, he has spent his career at the intersection of AI, data, and business transformation.
Long before AI became a boardroom buzzword, Subra was building it. As Presales Technical Lead at NCR/Teradata Asia Pacific in the late 1990s, he was implementing predictive yield management, cross-sell and upsell solutions for major telcos and banks across the region - working with the likes of Vodafone, Telstra, NTT, FarEasTone, and Globe Telecom. He later founded his own AI consultancy, contracted by Teradata Communications Global to design and deliver anti-fraud and anti-churn AI systems for tier-1 carriers across Asia Pacific. That work earned him a PCT Patent (WO/2008/075936) for decision-support innovation in telecommunications.
He went on to senior leadership roles at Oracle, Avanade, and Veripark, before serving as Regional Vice President at Salesforce, overseeing Tableau Analytics across Malaysia, Vietnam, and Pakistan.
He founded Oxydata in 2006 as a Microsoft services and managed services company. Today, under his leadership, Oxydata has transformed into an AI-led organisation - applying the same philosophy he carried from his earliest days in predictive analytics: that technology is only valuable when it drives real business outcomes.
